Custom ratio perfect for popular transmission swaps such as the BMW DCT and ZF 8HP. Puts the RPM range back into normal operating range to take advantage of these awesome transmissions.

These are our usual recipe of 9310 case hardened steel that is then profile ground to optimise mesh. They run smooth and quiet and can hold high power.

NOTE: Due to the extreme ratio change, the crown wheel is particularly thin and may effect extreme power holding. If you’re planning on pushing more than 800Nm through your setup, consider using the stronger 3.3 ratio instead, which also works very well with the 8HP and DCT transmissions.

This set comes with custom bolts which are shorter than the OEM ones. Torque setting is 99Nm. The bolts MUST BE CHECKED that they are not bottoming out in the holes – different LSDs have slightly different mounting flange thicknesses and the bolts may bottom out depending on what you’re using. If required, you’ll need to machine the threads slightly shorter to ensure proper fitment.
